Thornbridge Clinic & JDN Micropigmentation Ltd Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 01/07/22

  • You must be 18 or over to enter the clinic Micropigmentation rooms.
  • Minors are not permitted on the premises due to safety and insurance reasons. Please do not bring children to any of your appointments. Please arrange adequate child care before committing to an appointment.
  • We are committed to providing only the highest quality treatment and therefore only the client (you) and technician will be permitted to be in the treatment room during the procedure. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointments without prior permission from the clinic.
  • An allergy test is required for all new clients having micropigmentation. This can be posted, for you to do at home, or you can have this done in the clinic by appointment. If you’d prefer this option, you should book a consultation using the online booking system. If you decide to proceed with a micropigmentation appointment at a later date the consultation fee will be deducted from your treatment cost. If at your consultation you decide not to proceed to have micropigmentation or you are contraindicated to having micropigmentation your consultation fee will be refunded. If you suspect you may be contraindicated to having micropigmentation treatment you can request a pre treatment medical form is sent to you before you book ANY appointment. This will help highlight any reason you may not be eligible to have micropigmentation. All new clients are recommended to attend a consultation in the clinic prior to booking any micropigmentation appointment. Some consultations may be carried out free of charge via video call if requested.
  • All booking fees are non-refundable unless a positive patch test has occurred and we have seen this in person.
We can not guarantee that a patch test is 100% accurate due to traces of nickel that can be found in some needles and/or pigments. A reaction could occur at any time, including once a treatment has taken place.
  • We do not guarantee any procedure as every client’s skin is different. It would be negligent of us to do this. Please understand this before entering into an agreement with us.
  • Prices are correct at time of publishing. Prices are subject to change without written notice.
  • In the event your technician is unable to perform a treatment due to incorrect/insufficient information being provided we reserve the right to withhold any booking fee paid. Please ensure you give correct and honest information when prompted and we recommend reading our treatment terms and advice before booking your appointment.
  • In the event your technician is unable to perform a treatment due to late arrival, we reserve the right to withhold your booking fee.
  • If you have paid a discounted price please check whether or not this price includes a retouch.
  • Revisit/Colour refresh procedures are for 1 appointment only unless otherwise stated. Additional appointments will be chargeable.
  • All first time procedures are based across 2 appointments. The second appointment is a complimentary review/check up appointment. You may or may not need to have any more work done to the area. The second session is to allow your artist to check if your procedure has achieved the results you were hoping for and to touch up any areas where pigment has been rejected. Minor adjustments to shape and colour may also be made at the second session. If you decide to not return for the second appointment or if no further work is needed at this appointment, you will still be held liable for the full treatment cost without exception;
  • The second appointment will usually be undertaken between 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure however sometimes you will be advised to come sooner or wait longer to allow maximum regeneration of the skin and settling of the pigment depending on your skin type. Your second appointment date and time will be confirmed after you have the first session. If you fail to attend this appointment or have to reschedule out with a recommended time frame (12 weeks +) you may incur a further cost to attend another appointment. If for any reason you can not have the second session at no fault of the clinic within 6 months any further visits will be treated as a revisit appointment and you will be charged accordingly.
  • Every new treatment is based across 2 appointments, however in rare occasions it may be necessary to do a 3rd or even a 4th treatment to achieve the desired result. Cost of any subsequent treatments will be at the technician’s discretion.
  • You must wait a minimum of 6 weeks in between procedures to allow for the skin to fully heal.
  • Please ensure you are happy with all treatments before leaving the premises. Any additional retouches after this time will be chargeable and can not be completed within the first 6 weeks of healing. You will have the opportunity to see and discuss the treatment plan with your technician throughout your appointment. (Before, after pre-drawing and again at the end of the treatment). Nothing will be done without your full consent.
  • Failure to attend your appointment will result in immediate removal from the appointment schedule and loss of booking fee.
  • Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled with 48 hours notice. However, due to having a very busy diary it may be another 2-3 months before there is an available appointment. Any appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice will require another booking fee.
  • Each stage of the treatment will be photographed for insurance purposes, verification of what was agreed, the results and to monitor treatment quality. With your permission, we may use the photographs for marketing purposes online and in print. You will have the opportunity to consent or decline the public use of the photographs when completing your consent forms.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any treatment without explanation.
  • If at any time, you go to another technician after we have done your original procedure(s), We will no longer perform any future appointments for you without an in person consultation. This is to determine whether we can work over the existing micropigmentation.
  • If you have had previous micropigmentation or microblading treatments done elsewhere regardless of how long ago please do not book a treatment appointment with us without a consultation prior. It will be at our discretion as to whether or not services can or will be performed.
  • In the event that you suffer from a cough, cold, sickness or diarrhoea 48 hours or less prior to attending your appointment you may not be treated. We are aware that situations like this do happen and are out with your control. However please accept we can not put our staff or any other customers at risk of becoming unwell. If you arrive at your appointment visibly sick you may be refused treatment. If you feel unwell prior to your appointment please assess whether you will be able to attend your appointment or not and notify the clinic as soon as possible. This will hopefully enable us to reschedule your appointment without the loss of your booking fee.
